Japan doujin is really full of surprise, i could say that. There’s a confirmation of this game of being released in this winter comiket [C77]. After super robot taisen conquered the ps2 console, now touhou won’t even let it off.From the provided trailer, it seems using SWR engine for the graphic system and for the tactical phase does looks like Battle Moon Wars, well you could say that it DOES more likely SNES or GBA.Fortunately, there’s some motion while battling in air.

Oh yeah, this game will be created until 4 parts, For the main characters will be as usual : Reimu and Marisa. For the each main characters has its own ability. Reimu will be as Real Robot Route which will able avoid with high accuration, Marisa as super robot route which has a monstrous defense and attack.

There will be several touhou other characters in this game too. Till now, the characters which have been confirmed : alice, patchouli, nitori, youmu, aya, momiji, cirno, chen, daiyousei, rumia, sunny milk, luna child, and star sapphire.

Lubuntu? what exactly is it? Thanks to my chatmate Arif that mention me about this news. Lubuntu is basically an alternative of ubuntu with different gui system. Are you wondering what does that “L” stand for? So, that “L” from Lubuntu is stand for LXDE which are called “lightweight X11 Desktop Environment”. According to him, the interface is similiar to Gnome, but it’s light-weighted.

I straightly search the information about it and i found that lubuntu is still on development stage. After all, we could safely conclude that it hasn’t reach final stage (a.k.a Beta).

The lubuntu project is advancing. lynxis just published a lubuntu test iso based on the seeds by David Sugar and additional patches. It is just 381 MB and a second one only 292 MB. You can find it here.

Based on what i found, That 2012 doomsday theory was came out from the Mayans. Now, the question is, Is Mayan still exist now? Let’s find out.

According to some resource, Mayan has already ‘extinct’ed. That clan DID really exist from 2600 BCE to 1200 CE . So, what’s the connection to 21-12-2012? Mayan Calendar has about 22 calendars. But the biggest three is :

- Tzolkin : consisted of 1 religious cycle (260 days), and has about 20 weeks which got 13 days (13 days x 20 weeks =260 days). Every each week has its own logo such as zodiac or Chinese Shio.

- Haab :  Consisted of 365 days, same with the calendar which we usually use. Haab has 18 month which has 20 days (20days x 18 months = 360 days). There’re 5 days that often marked has bad luck day because it doesn’t belong to any month. Every each month got its own logo.

- Long Count : Differs from Tzolkin and Haab which are Cycle Calendar. Long Count is a Linear Calendar that started from day 1, same as usual calendar. If our calendar started from 1 AC, then Long Count started from 14 Aug 3114 BC (The day of earth creation according to Mayans)

The calendar what we usually use is Gregorian Calendar. (it got Days, Weeks, Months, and Years)

Confused? here’s the explanation.

1 kin = 1 day

1 uinal = 20 kin = 20 days

1 tun = 18 uinal = 360 kin = 360 days

1 katun = 20 tun = 7.200 kin = 7.200 days

1 baktun = 20 katun = 144.000 kin = 144.000 days

The Mayan Calendar format must be sorted like above, started from right.

Example :

12-09-2009 [DD-MM-YYYY] – gregorian calendar.

I’ll convert the day above to Long Count Calendar, and it become like this :

12.19.16.12.5 – Long Count Format

So the meaning is 12 baktun, 19 katun, 16 tun, 12 uinal, 4 kin. When we convert it to days count (kin), so :

(12 x 144.000) + (19 x 7200) + (16 x 360) + (12 x 20) + (4 x 1) = 1.870.804 from the day of creation.

Where’s the 2012 come from?

From a book called Popol Vuh which explained about the detailed creation, We live in the 4th creation era. Popol Vuh explain that three eras were failed to be creation by some sort of angel. The 4th creation is the only successful and human were placed to the earth.

According to Mayan’s Long Count calendar, the 3rd creation is failed on 13 Augh 3114 BC.

The 4th creation started on that date and will end after 13 baktun.

13 baktun when we write it in Mayan format, it become 13.0.0.0.0. Then after i use my count method like mentioned above, then the result is this :

13 baktun x 144.000 days = 1.872.000 days = 5.125 years. Remember!, 1 baktun = 144.000 years.

When we count it from 13 Aug 3114 BC, then the day after 1.872.000 will be fall to 21 December 2012.

first the date is 21-12-2012, Notice the day and the month and combine it : 2112. and check the year : 2012.

Now, do you understand? it’s almost similiar, so maybe somebody notice it and create some big hoax to it.

Now, is it true that 2012 will end?, How come they believe such rediculous thing?, and Do Mayans really BELIEVE that 2012 will be the doomsday?

The answer is : THEY DON’T KNOW .

Conclusion : Even mayans don’t know if it’s true or not. Well, i’m not a 2012 doomsday believer too, but i dont’ see that we shouldn’t do good deeds, more love, and pray more. I just hope this world is full of love.

This thing is keeping haunting me, my deadline is on 14th december on this year. Well, yeah… I need to make this thing the best because it’s my last web assignment.

Nothing much to be expected, maybe this could be an improved version of my Tales Project. The greenish thing, i plan to give it a nature feels then the main theme would be manga.

The picture above just my instant work on photoshop. The site view could be different, because till now i still had a problem with photoshop slicing tool. Other than not accurately slice, there’s still more that it’s always bloated with spacer.

Damned it, i dunno how this thing happened in my competent test session. Well, i had this thing failed due to the Powerpoint error, and that’s way i’m considering = “POWERPOINT SUCKS!”. If this wasn’t happen, i could pass all the test.

I don’t know that i want to ignore it at all or blame it to computer / Microsoft, but oh well. So many student had this thing happened to . After all, i could say that i can pass 6 from 7 appropriate test.

Today, while i was checking my account statistic, mediafire seems has changed their looks. Overall, it’s looking nice, less flash. Still uses flash for uploading, but you can choose old uploader type there.

Oh man, this should be the coolest PV as far as now.  Although that it’s only 2 colors consisted of black and white, but it give some a “living” feel to the touhou characters. Well, this PV used Alstroemeria Records’ Bad Apple!! from Exserens album.

Sega has announced that popular PSP Vocaloid rhythm game Project Diva is to have an arcade sequel, aptly named “Project Diva Arcade.”

For the latest project Diva, it wont be on XBOX 360, PSP, PS3, or Wii, But it’ll seems released in Arcade. Seems mostly SEGA will use the songs from NicoNico Douga. Well, they were opened posting of videos at the official Nico Nico Douga page.

Unfortunately, no news confirmed for the release yet, and the game itself will be location tested in January. What kind of arcade installation will be used is not clear.

Since it’ll available for arcade, i hope it’ll available for home console too and has a satisfactory gameplay. For more news, you can read here[JP].
